National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork
This organization offers a recognized, credible credentialing program. Massage therapists become nationally certified through this organization. To become eligible for certification, massage therapists must document their level of education, experience and training, demonstrate their skills, commit to continuing education, and pass a certification exam.
Kentucky Board of Licensure for Massage Therapy
I am licensed to practice massage therapy in Kentucky. Advanced Massage Therapeutics
Charles Watson was one of my instructors in massage school at the Louisville School of Massage, in Louisville, Kentucky. He opened his own school in 1998, also in Louisville. For anyone interested in learning to become a massage therapist, I highly recommend his school. He is the massage therapist for the University of Louisville men's basketball team. Before I moved to Salem, Indiana, I worked with Charles as a therapist at Advanced Massage Therapeutics.
